Arbitration: An advantage of arbitration proceedings is that they are confidential.  But be careful: You need to consult Jacobson & Richards during every step of the process (even before you agree to an arbitration clause) to build in as many protections as possible to preserve that confidentiality.

Mediation:  Mediation proceedings are generally less formal and often more conversational. We understand how to use such proceedings to benefit both sides by allowing the parties to tell their sides of the story in a non-legal manner and pave the best path possible to achieve a business settlement that makes sense.
